DWM 1923 Model Luger with holster, wood handled cleaning rod and loading tool. The pistol has an 8 inch barrel with adjustable tangent rear sight. The chamber is stamped with the seal of the United States ( American Eagle). The toggle has the script "DWM" logo. The safety indicator is marked "SAFE" and the extractor is marked "LOADED". The right side of the barrel extension has the import mark, "GERMANY" followed by "A.F. STOEGER INC / NEW YORK.". The right side frame rail is marked: "LUGER -- REGISTERED U.S. PATENT OFFICE." The underside of the barrel is marked with a Crown / N and the serial number. The forward portion of the frame is marked: "GERMANY" below the serial number. All serial numbered pistol components have matching numbers. The magazine is nickel plated with a wooden base which is marked "GERMANY" on the bottom. All markings are highlighted in white. The holster is a dark leather and is marked with an unreadable makers name and dated 1917 on the inside of the flap.

Partially refinished. The pistol, with the exception of the refinished sideplate, retains 95% of the original finish with wear limited to the muzzle and high edges. The grips are very good with light wear to the checkering and scattered minor dings. All markings are crisp. Mechanically sound. The holster is excellent showing little wear. The tie down strap has been repositioned and there is no belt loop. All of the stitching remains tight.
