Description:

Made in 1899 and the accompanying factory letter confirms the guns configuration and that it was shipped to Hartley and Graham of New York on February 28th, 1899. Blade front sight on barrel with standard one line Colt address and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side. Two line, three date patent markings on the frame next to the circled Rampant Colt. Checkered two piece hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logos at the top of each side.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with traces of the original finish and moderate pitting overall. The patina is a mix of satin and mottled gray, with original blue remaining on the ejector and around the trigger guard. The casehardening has faded, with some traces of the pattern remaining. The grips are good, with moderate smoothing of the checkering, and some light scratches and dings. The action is excellent.
