This gun was made in 1902. Fixed blade front sight with notched rear sight. Standard two line barrel address while the left side of the barrel reads "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F.". The frame and hammer are casehardened. Serial numbers match on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. "9644" is stamped on loading gate. Three patent dates (1871, 1872, and 1875) appear on left frame. Wide, low hammer spur and wide trigger with characteristic "humpback" grip. Checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt monograms.

Fine. The barrel and cylinder have approximately 40% original blue finish remaining. The balance shows some thinning blue with some small surface scratches and handling marks. The frame shows nice flashes of vivid case color in protected areas while the majority has worn to an even satin gray patina. The cylinder pin is a homemade replacement. The grips are in fine condition with the slightest collectors handling marks.
