Description:

This is a 1941 production, Mauser "byf-Code" P.08 pistol with "41" chamber date. The frame is marked "P.08" on the left side just ahead of the safety lever recess. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two "Eagle / 655" Army Acceptance Marks and an "Eagle/Swastika" Army proof mark. The serial number is stamped on the front of the frame, the underside of the barrel and left side of the receiver. The partial serial number "03" is stamped on the small components. The safety and extractor are marked "Gesichert" and "Geladen". All the serial numbers match. The grips are checkered walnut. The magazine is blued with an aluminum base, with "fxo", "Eagle/ 37" and "P.08" on the left side, and the professionally renumbered matching serial number on the base. Complete with black leather flap holster marked "epf/ 1941", "Eagle/ WaA195", and "P.08" on the back, a small takedown wrench marked "Eagle/ 655", and an extra magazine marked identically to the first one, including serial number, adding a "t" under the serial number.

Rating Definition:

Excellent (with exception noted above), with 98% of the original blue finish. There are some dings on the locking bolt, wear on the high edges and grip straps, and light handling marks. The excellent grips have minor pressure dents and small areas of darkening. The action is excellent. Holster is excellent, with a few minor scratches and scuffs.
