Description:

After DWM could no longer supply Switzerland with Lugers during WWI, the Swiss firm of Waffenfabrik Bern produced its own version based on the Model 1906. The "FW+" monogram, the mark for the Waffenfabrik Bern factory, is on the grips, back of frame and on left side of frame just ahead of the serial number. The Swiss Cross is marked on the toggle and a small cross is marked on the underside of the barrel. The serial number appears on the left side of the frame, top of the barrel and on the rear toggle. The magazine is nickel with a brown plastic bottom. Approximately 30,000 of these pistols were produced and were sold for both military and commercial use.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. Approximately 98% of the finish remains with light wear on the muzzle and side plate. The barrel has some pin prick type pitting that has been finished over. Light scattered spotting on the grip straps and grip safety. The grips are excellent with a few minor nicks. The checkering remains crisp showing very little wear.
