This is a "Special Troops" (Truppe Speciali) variant Italian bolt action carbine, the top of the rear portion of the barrel is marked with "TERNI" and right side is marked "1930 VIII". Blade front sight and adjustable rear sight with iron battle sight underneath the adjustable arm. The casehardened bolt has the "PB" in oval marking of Beretta on several parts. Smooth straight grip stock with cleaning rod, sling swivels, sling bars, barrel bands, "LP" on left of receiver, "|/ - |*| -/ |" on the underside of the wrist, the Italian Royal Crest and serial number on the left buttstock and smooth metal buttplate. With a brown leather scabbard, marked "*ARRIGONI*/ TORINO" in a circle around 1935.

Excellent, with 95% of the original finish remaining. There are a few small areas of brown patina on the barrel and bands, along with some light handling marks. The bolt has darkened on the exposed areas, with a single line of satin gray patina down the upper right side. The stock is excellent, with some light to moderate pressure dents. Action is excellent. The scabbard is fine, with a tear and some light cracking on the straps.
