Number 65 of only 100 of these knife sets made for the Harley Owners Group, This particular set was bought directly from Dr. Robert Charlton, and is one of the rarest pieces of Harley Davidson memorabilia. Both blades are made from 500+ layer hand forged Damascus steel in 1/4 inch thickness. Comes with a packet of documents supplied by Dr. Charlton, including his letter to the consignor, copy of the blanket purchase order from H-D, and copies of several other pieces of correspondence. 1) Bowie type knife, 12 inches long with 6 7/8 inch clipped blade with fullers on each side. The dual quillion cross guard and pommel are both brass, with the cross guard marked "(Hibben Knives logo) 65/100" left of the blade and "CHARLTON LTD." on the right side. On the left side of the coco bolo wood grip is a brass plate marked "1983-1988/ H.O.G./ 5TH ANNIVERSARY". 2) Spear point dagger 13 1/4 inches long, 8 inch blade with single fullers on each side. Everything from the cross guard down is identical to the other dagger. The case is numbered to the knives, and made of glass and wood, with a stand in the middle surrounded by mirrors for both blades and plaques on the front reading "5th/ ANNIVERSARY/ HOG/ HARLY OWNERS GROUP/ 1983*1988" and "#65 of 100".

Excellent. Both blades are in superb condition, with a few light handling marks, and very sharp edges. The case is also excellent.
