This special edition was designed for the Browning Collectors association, with a special serial number with the last five digits identifying it as the BCA 10th anniversary, and the first five digits as gun number 70. An oval gilt plaque inside the lid of the Browning case specifies that it was number 70 of an edition of only 155. A certificate of authenticity and a letter from the President of the BCA are included in the papers, patches, and stickers inside the case. The French gray, also called coin finished, receiver is engraved with a squirrel feeding on pine cones on the right, a running fox on the left, and a sitting rabbit on top. All of these are in ovals surrounded by floral scrolls/ Matching scrolls on the triggerguard. The lower left edge of the receiver is signed "J. PIROTTE" followed by the Browning buck head logo. The caliber is .22 Short noted on the barrel and on the plaque in the case, although the certificate gives it as 22 LR. The trigger is gold plated. The deluxe high polish walnut stock has a fine grain. Except for the plaque, the case is a standard Browning case for this rifle, tan canvas with leather ends, blue interior. The keys are included
