Unmarked sporter weight barrel made without iron sights. Pre 64 type action made in 1949 with a jeweled bolt, Burris 4X scope on Redfield type mounts. Extra fancy English walnut stock with fleur-de-lis checkering, ebony forend tip, steel grip cap and checkered butt plate. Shadow line cheekpiece, sling swivel studs.

Fine as custom built with 99.9% finish. An outstanding unmarked custom Model 70 in a very good cartridge (280 Rem). Stockwork is excellent and was done by a master stockmaker.
