This is an excellent example of a late production Lahti Model 40 semi-automatic pistol. The left side of the receiver is marked with "HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B." over the serial number and the left side of the frame has the matching serial number. The right side of the receiver is marked "SWEDEN". It has the military style fixed front and rear sights with black plastic grips with the Husqvarna logo on each side. It has a pebbled brown leather flap holster marked with the three crown Swedish military mark, two spare magazines, a takedown tool, and a cleaning rod all contained in the pouches on the front, as well as a separate two compartment oilier and a leather lanyard.

Excellent, with 95% of the original finish remaining. A smooth gray patina is forming on the grip straps and high edges, with light brown showing on the barrel. The grips are excellent, with a patch of scuffing on the left side. The action is excellent. The holster and accessories are fine, with some smoothing and wear on the raised portions of the leather.
