Description:

Japanese Type 14 Nambu Pistol manufactured by Nagoya Arsenal in March 1936. The pistol has the standard Nagoya salt blue finish with the small trigger guard, straw colored trigger, safety lever and magazine release and early cocking knob. The right side of the receiver is marked with the Nagoya Arsenal symbol followed by the serial number. The Showa date of manufacture (11.3) is located on the right side of the frame behind the grip. The bolt is numbered 782 which matches the cocking knob and trigger. Complete with a leather clam shell holster with rectangular brass suspension rings, brown leather shoulder strap, cleaning rod and extra firing pin.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus of the original finish with some high edge wear, thinning on the backstrap and some minor spotting on the barrel extension, backstrap and barrel. There is a very small area of minor pitting on the right side of the frame. Almost all of the straw colors remain some fading on the trigger face and light pitting on the safety lever. The grips are very good as freshened with overall scattered minor scratches, dents and dings. The holster and strap are very good with light wear and scattered minor scuffs. Except for a small area on the strap, all the stitching is tight.
