This is a late production Type 38 rifle series 26 Arisaka rifle as manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal. It has the early features of the long 31 1/4 inch barrel with the folding adjustable rear sight with the inverted "V" with guards front sight and the open "V" rear sight with the flat forged buttplate and all milled components. The top of the receiver has the Japanese Chrysanthemum and Kanji markings (both still in tact) with the side of the receiver marked with the series mark, the serial number and the Nagoya Arsenal manufacturers mark. The stock and handguard are both the original hardwood versions. It has the all blued parts and bright polished bolt. It has a matching bolt, original dust cover, original leather sling and RARE solid brass muzzle cover and cleaning rod.

Very good overall with 98% of the professionally restored blued finish overall with some minor wear on the floor plate and rear of the trigger guard. The stock and handguard are both in excellent condition and retain 99% of the professionally restored stock finish. As noted the bolt matches and it is complete with some very RARE accessories.
