This is a beautiful example of a late production model 1903 Steyr Mannlicher rifle. Blade front sight and rear sight adjustable to 2000 meters. Marked " MODEL / 1903 " on top of the receiver and " STEYR 1912" on the left side of the receiver. The serial number is marked on the right side of the receiver, the bolt handle assembly and the right side of the buttstock. All numbers match. An encircled "T" is marked on the left front of the receiver, a small "K" on most of the components and a Crown over "V" proof on the left side of the receiver and on the bolt handle. The cleaning rod, buttplate and bolt assembly are in the bright, while the remaining metal parts are blue. The stock is a full one piece pistol grip with a handguard, finger grooves, bayonet lug on the forward barrel band and sling swivels.

Excellent plus. Approximately 98% of the bright original blue finish remains with some thinning on the barrel bands and trigger guard. The front portion of the receiver shows some extremely minor spotting. The bolt assembly retains 99% of the bright finish. The buttplate remains bright with some light pitting on the heel. The stock is in excellent condition with overall scattered minor dings and dents. All markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
