Standard three line E. Remington & Sons address and patent mark on the upper tang of the frame. The serial number, not factory, is on the right side of the receiver. The stepped military sight at the rear of the barrels is installed with the numbers reading from the muzzle. "U" is stamped on the left side of each barrel band.

Excellent with approximately 95% original blue on the barrel, barrel bands and buttplate, 90% casehardened colors on the action, bright on the left side and darkening on the trigger guard and tangs. The very fine wood has normal dents and scratches. The action is tight.
