Stainless steel version of the Model 19. Red ramp front sight with adjustable white outlined micrometer rear sight. Six round fluted cylinder, checkered hammer, and serrated trigger. Smooth grips with S&W medallions. The left side of the frame is marked "USBP-1942". The right side of the barrel is marked "1924 - U.S. BORDER PATROL - 1974 / S. & W. .357 MAGNUM ". The right side plate is marked with the United States Border Patrol badge. Complete with a "U. S. BORDER PATROL" patch and a 50 year anniversary patch, in a French fitted wood presentation case. Outer lid on case is embossed with " U.S./ BORDER/ PATROL" and the "S&W logo". Manufactured in 1976 with a little more than 3,100 manufactured.
