Reintroduced in 1946 and manufactured until 1949, this five screw N-Frame revolver is chambered for the 38 Special cartridge. It is equipped with a blade front sight forged to the barrel and square notch rear sight, a casehardened hammer and trigger, a six round fluted cylinder with a shrouded ejector rod, and checkered Magna grips with S&W medallions. Markings under the left grip indicate the revolver was factory refinished in 10 of 77.

Very good as factory refinished showing a light drag line on the cylinder, light handling marks and some minor scuffs on the frame under the right grip. Approximately 80% of the casehardened colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very good with minor wear to the checkering and scattered minor dings and scratches.
