Description:

1. 7" diamond shaped blade, one inch wide at the base. The layered wood hilt is fastened with brass rivets. The blade has a dark patina with wear on the spine and light pitting overall. The upper layer of the wood hilt is missing a chip above the rivet and is cracked at the opposite. The wear and patina match the blade. Pacific Coast, probably 19th Century. A fine appearing dagger. 2. 10 5/8" slightly concave diamond shaped blade 2 1/8" wide at the base. Two cut notches on each side. The blade is marked "I & H SORBY" in a sunken cartouche on one side. The one piece oak hilt is decorated with 19 brass tacks on one side and 21 on the other. The blade shows much use with considerable sharpening. The hilt shows little wear and is probably a replacement.
