28-1/4" tall statue of an Indian on horseback riding down a steep, rocky hill (roughly 45° angle). The horse is sliding, with the back rear leg off the edge of the slope, and the Indian is leaning back in the saddle, with a bedroll and axe on his bedroll and a rifle over his legs. Engraved "Copyright by / Frederick Remington" on the edge of the slope. With an irregular mottled marble plinth, not secured to the base. Excellent, with a few light handling marks.
