Horizontal cabinet measuring 32" wide x 23" deep x 38" tall, with darker varnished walnut in the corners and on the top, with gold paint in the lower areas. On the front of the machine is a metal crown atop a red filled circle, with the writing "Saratoga/ by Pace" raised in the circle, 10" long nickel lever, coin return, and the payout tray, hidden behind a spring loaded door. The top of the cabinet is bordered with nickel finished rails, and towards the front are a raised coin slot with "¢5" in a red circle on the left side, to the left of that a 5" x 3" glass panel showing the coin bank and the mechanism for dispensing the winnings, and to the right is a built-in removable ashtray. Occupying the rest of the space is a 26" x 19" piece of glass. The left side of this glass has an image of racehorses at the top, and at the bottom is "Saratoga" on a green field over a sign reading "INSTRUCTIONS/ WHEN RESULTS MATCH/ ABOVE COMBINATIONS/ SHOOT BALL THROUGH SKILL FIELD", and in the middle is the payout guide and wheels. The wheels are marked with numbers, the backgrounds of which are colored with a silhouette of a horses head, and next to the wheels are the labels "WIN", "PLACE", and "SHOW". On the right side is the "Skill Field", a miniature pinball game with a single contact target inside a funnel, with the bumpers made from wire wrapped around pegs, spring bumpers in the upper corners, and a red plastic handled plunger on the front of the cabinet.

Fine, with some light wear overall. The wood shows some light scratches and chips, and a small piece of do-it-yourself velcro has been applied to the main glass. As of this writing, the mechanism has not been tested under power.
