Manufactured in 1966. The sides of the side and frame have a high-polished blue finish. The top of the slide and the grip straps, bottom of the frame and trigger guard have a satin blue finish. The left side of the slide is marked: "GOVERNMENT/MODEL" in a two-line block followed by "COLT", "AUTOMATIC/CALIBER 45" in a two-line block and the Rampant Colt. The magazine is marked: "COLT / .45 AUTO" on the base. The checkered, "Colt Wood" grips have the inlayed Rampant Colt medallions in the center.

Excellent plus, with approximately 99.5% finish remaining overall. The slide and frame show only minor handling marks overall with the exception of a few tiny scuffs on the top of the slide just behind the ejection port and very slight edge wear. The grips are also excellent with only light overall wear and very crisp checkering.
