This model was in production from 1960 until 1970 with only 7000 manufactured. This particular pistol was manufactured in the first year of production. The left side of the slide marked, "NATIONAL / MATCH", "COLT", "AUTOMATIC / .38 SPECIAL / MID RANGE" followed by Rampant Colt. One line Colt address on the right side of the slide and the serial number on the right side of the frame above the trigger. Fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Serrated trigger with adjustable stop, grip and thumb safety and checkered grips with gold Colt medallions.

Near excellent retaining approximately 90% finish with high edge wear and thinning front and rear grip straps and grip safety. Overall scattered minor dings and scratches with an area of pitting on right side of slide at the muzzle and a few small areas of light spotting on the right side of the frame and slide. The grips are in excellent condition.
