Manufactured in 1991, with a red ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Standard markings, with the S&W logo on the left side of the frame, the line marking, and the caliber on the right side of the barrel. Fitted with a casehardened checkered hammer and smooth trigger, a six round fluted cylinder, and smooth 3-finger laminate grips.

Excellent, with 99% of the original finish. There are a few light handling marks and some wear from use. The casehardened colors are clear and bright. Grips are excellent, with a few light dings. The action is excellent.

Produced between 1982 and 1984, as indicated by the unpinned barrel. Standard markings on alloy frame and marked "AIRWEIGHT/38 SPL. CTG." on the right side of the barrel. Serrated ramped front sight with square notch rear sight. Serrated trigger and checkered hammer are casehardened, six-shot fluted steel cylinder. Checkered walnut grips with Smith & Wesson medallions.

Excellent, with 99.9% finish. There is a small ding on the left side of the barrel, some very slight scratching under the 4-line marking, and a few other light handling marks. The casehardened colors are starting to fade, but the patterns remain strong. Grips are very good, with a few pressure dents on the sharp checkering. Action is excellent.
