19" tall, 11-3/8" wide bronze of a man in traditional Scottish garb, carrying a whip with antler handle in his right hand and holding aloft a dead fox. At the man's feet is a dog, and behind him is a shrub. On the ground near the dog is the artist's signature "P.J. MÊNE". Mêne was a French artist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The whip is broken, but the bronze is otherwise fine with some light handling marks and a darker patina in the lower areas.
