Bronze by Henry Mervin Shrady (1871-1921). Magnificent solid bronze casting of one of the Indian's most sacred animal/deity - the White Buffalo. The white buffalo is not an albino buffalo, but a true brown with a white coat, black eyes; not pink. Signed on the bronze base "Shrady, Roman Bronze Works, NY, 1908." Excellent condition that rests on a contained 1-1/2" marble base. Weight is about 150 lbs.
