A bronze statue of a Bald Eagle on a twisted stump, measuring 29" tall including turned marble plinth, 25 1/2" from wingtip to wingtip, and roughly 17 inches from beak to tail. The beak and talons have been polished, and the head feathers have been patinaed white. A flat spot on the base has been engraved "J. Moigniez". The base is mounted on a round marble plinth with felt lined bottom. In excellent condition, with a few light handling marks and a few areas of aged patina on the polished brass.
