This is a blowback operated, semi-automatic rifle chambered for the .22 long rifle cartridge and is a lightweight, compact firearm that was manufactured by FN between 1956 and 1974 for U.S. marked guns. It features a fixed dovetail front sight and an adjustable rear fold-down sight on the take-down barrel. The barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo & MONTREAL P.Q./ MADE IN BELGIUM". The receiver is French gray and engraved with a scroll design. The right side is engraved with two squirrels perched in a tree. The left side has a similar scene with two prairie dogs on a hill. The top of the receiver is engraved with a mallard in flight while the trigger guard is a floral pattern. Gold washed trigger and an 11 round tubular magazine which loads through the buttstock. Very fancy grain walnut with checkering and high gloss finish with a black metal buttplate. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun and shipping box.
