Description:

1) This 20-1/2" long, 12-3/8" tall bronze of two horses is done in the style of P.J. Mêne, famous late 19th, early 20th Century French artist. Both horses are done in the smooth style with some details on the tail and mane. "P.J. MÊNE" has been engraved towards the front of the base. Excellent, with some light wear and dings around the base. 2) 14 1/2" long, 7 1/2" deep, 8 3/8" high bronze of three dogs investigating a rocky den. The signature "P.J. MENE" is at the left front. Mene was a 19th century French artist specializing in animal bronzes and many of his bronzes are currently produced. Excellent with some rubs and dings.
