Description:

The top of the receiver and right of the stock have the Tula arsenal star factory mark over the date "1941". The original Cyrillic prefix serial number (transliterated as "PYa5386") is on the left of the receiver with factory stamped and matching serial number on the bolt, charging handle/bolt carrier, trigger guard, and left side of stock. The absence of scope mounting grooves along the edge of the receiver on this rifle indicates that it was manufactured after the mid-1941 change which eliminated the requirement for scope mounting grooves. The replacement magazine is numbered "3/3P552" with a Finnish Army "SA" stamp on the base. Assorted Soviet inspection marks on the various components. First type six slot muzzle brake, standard military hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated 1-15 (100-1,500 meters). Includes a green canvas web sling with leather ends.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 60% original blue finish with brown patina on the balance, and 80% arsenal refurbished blue finish on the replacement magazine with scattered mild pitting on the base. Stock is very good with general mild wear and some scattered scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
