Built with blued steel barrels featuring a single brass bead sight on the wide matted solid rib, "RICHARD ELLIS & SONS." and "St. MARY'S, BIRMINGHAM" marked on the right and left respectively, 2018 dated London reproofs on the flats along with the "SLEEVED" marking, choke constriction of .025/.032 inches, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with single extractor. The barrels are mated to a casehardened hammer sidelock action which displays attractive scroll engraving and is marked "J. YATES" on either lockplate. The gun features rebounding hammers and double triggers. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a round knob pistol grip stock with "JX" in the gold inscription oval, a rabbit in the silver oval, and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Included is a wood and leather takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 15 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz.

Very fine, retaining 99% professionally reapplied blue, original case colors around the hammers with the balance a fine grey, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the replacement wood. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent
