Manufactured in 1946. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights. The barrel is marked with the model and caliber markings on the left, and the Winchester address on the right. "WP" proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a miltipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, retaining 95% original plus blue finish with some handling marks, some spotting on the receiver, and a couple small patches of light pitting under the finish. The stock is also excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
