Description:

The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped on April 5, 1950 and delivered to Richmond Hardware Co. of Richmond, Virginia, with a 4 inch barrel, blue finish, and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, ejector shroud, and cylinder. The right grip panel and included .38/44 Heavy Duty maroon box featuring an end label for a 4 inch barrel are 100% correct but numbered to a different gun.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish and vibrant case colors showing a very faint cylinder drag line and a couple minor scratches on the grips which have crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with a split corner, tape reattaching the end label and some creases.
