Manufactured between 1956 and 1957 on the 5-screw frame. Fitted with a red ramp blade front and white outline notched tangent rear sights, casehardened wide spur hammer and trigger. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Smith & Wesson medallions. The grip frame under the left grip bears the factory refinishing mark with a return date of February 1976 (276). Excellent as factory refinished, retaining 99% plus blue finish with minimal handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
