A commercial version of the Chinese Type 79/85, an adaptation of the classic Russian SVD "Dragunov" semi-automatic sniper rifle. Features hooded post front and tangent rear sights, flash hider, and bayonet lug, with "NORINCO/CHINA" marked on the right side of the milled receiver and "CSI ONT CA/7.62x54R/NDM-86" importer marking on the left. Fitted with a smooth ventilated birch forearm and a laminate thumb-hole stock with Bakelite clamp-on cheekpiece and flat steel buttplate. Matching numbers on the bolt carrier and safety lever, with the buttstock re-numbered to "300565. With canvas web sling, extra magazine, and PSO-1 style scope numbered "300565" with sun shade, rubber eye piece, and integrated mount.

Very fine, retaining 85% plus original black finish with scattered light chipping, light spotting, and edge wear. The varnished stock is also very fine. Scope is very fine with light handling marks, electronically untested, and crisp optics. A weld repair is visible on the left side of the bolt head, otherwise mechanically excellent.
