The Colt Bisley model was only manufactured in 1894-1912. For many, the Bisley feels better in the hand and cocks and fires easier thanks to its lower and wider hammer and the wider trigger making them excellent sidearms for serious marksmen. This example was manufactured in 1912. The barrel is marked "32 WCF" on the left side and has the one-line Hartford address on top. The receiver has the two-line address marking followed by an encircled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers appear on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.

Fine. The barrel and ejector rod housing retain 75% bright original high polish blue finish with holster type wear. The cylinder retains 50% original blue finish. 40% original blue finish remains on the grip straps with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. The frame retains 60% original case colors. The replacement grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
