Built with blued steel barrels featuring a ramped beaded blade front sight, fixed rear sight, quick detach rotary scope mounts holding a Nickel 1-4x25mm C scope, band of engraving at the breech, import mark under the forend, 2004 dated German proofs, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are mated to a silver nitride finished boxlock action which has light border engraving and is marked "KRIEGHOFF/CLASSIC" on the underside. The rifle features double triggers (front articulated) and the Krieghoff tang mounted safety/cocking piece. The rifle is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered semi-Schnabel tip forend and a pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, rear sling stud, and a Decelerator recoil pad. Included with the rifle are three extra barrel sets all with their own highly figured forends, the first is a set of 28 inch double 20 gauge barrels with 3 inch chambers and interchangeable chokes (skeet/improved cylinder installed), the second is a set of 23 5/8 inch double 9.3x74R barrels with a Schmidt & Bender Zenith 1.1-4x24mm scope, and the third is a 23 5/8 inch set of combination barrels chambered for 3 inch 20 gauge shells with a full choke and a 9.3x74R barrel with another Schmidt & Bender Zenith 1.1-4x24mm scope. Also included is a Krieghoff case that houses the action, one set of barrels, and a scope as well as a generic second case that houses the other barrel sets. Length of pull 14 15/16 inches. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and silver nitride finishes with minor handling evidence, a few minor nicks in the wood, and sharp checkering. The scopes are all excellent. Repaired chip in forend of the 9.3x74R barrel set, otherwise the extra barrel sets are excellent. Mechanically excellent. A wonderful set that will satisfy nearly any hunting scenario!
