Manufactured in 1957 and chambered in 7mm Mauser which accounted for .25 percent of all pre-64 Model 70 Production. Fitted with ramped, hooded, beaded blade front and folding notch rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address, model, and caliber. "WP" proofs are marked on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and the serial number on the right of the receiver ring and topped off with Bausch & Lomb Balfor 8 scope. The aluminum floorplate is marked "- SUPER GRADE-". Bolt is an unmarked replacement. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, sling eyes, hard rubber grip cap, Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate.

Fine with a replacement bolt (see above), retaining 70% original blue finish with limited handling marks, scattered surface oxidation, and pitting on the floorplate. Stock is also fine with some dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Optics slightly hazy, reticle crisp.
