This is one of only 3,630 K-32 Masterpiece (Model 16) revolvers S&W manufactured over a 26 year period starting in 1947. It is the rarest of the standard K-Masterpiece series. The accompanying factory letter states this 4-screw K-32 was shipped on August 12, 1958 and delivered to W.H. Kiefaber, Inc. of Dayton, Ohio, with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish, and checkered walnut grips (currently fitted with checkered Magna grips with right panel numbered to a different gun). Excellent, retaining 97% original blue finish with some muzzle wear, a cylinder drag line and some scattered handling marks. 98% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Box is fine. Mechanically excellent.
