Manufactured 1915-1942 and subsequently converted to Super Target configuration by the King Gunsight Company. King added their classic "Super Target" floating vent rib which is fitted with a red bead front sight with mirror and adjustable notch rear sight. The revolver wears a set of checkered walnut S&W medallion grips. Matching serial numbers are stamped on the barrel, cylinder, and butt. Provenance: The Jon M. Maxwell Collection

Excellent overall as upgraded by King Gunsight Company, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, some muzzle wear, a couple light spots of minor pitting, light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering on the replacement grips. Mechanically excellent.
