Description:

Manufactured in 1942 with standard markings as well as the rare and desirable "U.S. PROPERTY" marking on the right side of the frame. It is fitted with blade front and flat top notch rear sights, and checkered grips with Colt medallions. This pistols serial number falls between two identified General Officer's pistols, serial numbers 136383 and 136546. Includes an original, matching numbered Kraft box hand marked "C. PATTERSON" and "PATTERSON" on the lid and an extra magazine.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered patches of light spotting and a few scattered light handling marks. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with moderate wear and some spots of edge separation.
