This pattern was adopted in 1890. The sword features a 32 3/4 inch quill point blade with naval and scroll pattern etching, "EISEN=/HAUER" on the left and right, and "CLEMEN & JUNG, SOLINGEN" on the spine. The gilt brass pommel has an anchor and crown motif on the guard that coordinates with the blade, a lion head pommel, and ribbed bone grip with wire wrap. Includes a black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts and a 8 1/4 x 12 inch Imperial German Naval Jack from a captain's car.

Excellent sword with only some minor age and storage related wear. The flag is fine and has mild age and storage related discoloration and moth holes.
