Built with blued steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight and fixed notch rear sight on the matted solid rib, bands of engraving at either breech, front sling swivel, import mark under forend, 1992 dated German proofs, shotgun choke constriction of .045 inches, and automatic ejectors for both the 9.3x74R and 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge chambers. The barrels are mated to a coin finished scalloped boxlock action which features a running roe buck and doe on the left and a pair of capercallie roosters displaying for hens on the right along with scrollwork. The gun features cocking indicators, double triggers (front is single set), and an automatic tang mounted safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with black grip cap, raised cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, and a black checkered buttplate. Included with the gun is a second matching 28 inch double 12 gauge barrel set with 2 3/4 inch chambers and choke constrictions of .013/.028 inches. Includes a factory box that houses the barrel sets. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the wood. The box is good. Mechanically excellent.
