Manufactured in 1946 and subsequently refurbished. Fitted with a ramped beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the model and caliber with the Winchester address on the right. "WP" proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the ring. The floorplate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut stock with contrasting forend cap, sling loops, hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% refinished blue finish with a few minor handling marks, a couple pin hole pitting spots under the finish, file marks on the buttplate, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
