Offered here is an experimental, and possibly one off, competition pistol from the Smith & Wesson Performance center. The slide is manufactured without sights (the rear sight location is milled down for weight saving), weight relief cuts all around the slide, and is fitted with a compensator. The frame bears the pistol's only marking, a lone serial number, and is fitted with an optics mount holding a Tasco Propoint red dot, checkered walnut grips, checkered front and backstraps, integral magwell, and beavertail. Excellent overall, with some typical wear from use, some minor pits on top of the slide, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Sight is operational. This would make an excellent addition to any Smith & Wesson or prototype firearm collection!
