Based off of the HK91 series, the SR9 was developed to qualify as a sporting and target rifle after the U.S. began an importation ban on rifles with military traits in 1989. As such, it lacks the threaded muzzle, flash hider, and bayonet lug, while also having the addition of polygonal rifling. Features hood post front and diopter drum rear sights, adjustable trigger shoe, smooth ventilated green composite forend and buttstock, with a textured green polymer pistol grip. The left of the magazine well marked with a "KA" (1990) date code, along with "Made in W-Germany" on the right. Includes a Harris 1A2 bipod, H&K pattern claw mount, and Redfield Varmint 6-24x scope. Excellent, with 95% plus original finish retained with light scrapes and handling marks. The buttplate is broken; otherwise, the furniture is very fine. Scope is excellent with clear optics. Mechanically excellent.
