Description:

A Cold War-era development, the RGA-86 launcher works on similar mechanical principles as the Armsel Striker/Street-Sweeper line of shotguns or the modern ARWEN launcher, using a spring-loaded cylindrical series of chambers and a double-action internal hammer for rapid fire. The RGA is intended for signal use only (flares, smoke, etc.), and does not qualify as a Destructive Device unless paired with solid projectiles. Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with an integral carry handle and a large loading door that exposes about a third of the cylinder. The barrel and cylinder are alloy construction, with a steel trigger housing fitted with a crossbar safety and a long trigger suitable for winter gloves or a two-finger grip. A set of AK-style plastic pistol grips are installed, along with a short over-folder stock. A hardwood shipping case and an untranslated letter serial numbered to the launcher and dated August 1989 are included.

Rating Definition:

Very good as repainted, with most of the black enamel finish, showing some rough spots on the trigger housing, scuffing on the chambers, and mild handling marks overall. The grips show some light wear. Mechanically very good.
