The shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and choke constriction of .029 inches. The coin sideplates action displays scroll engraving on nearly all sides with "GERBRUDER MERKEL/SUHL" on the underside. The gun features dual triggers (front is single set), cocking indicators, and a tang mounted manual safety. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend and pistol grip stock with rear sling swivel, black grip cap, and Wegu rubber recoil pad. Includes a leather sling. Excellent, retaining 97% original blue and coin finishes with handling marks concentrated near the muzzle, some discoloration on the action, and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with a few dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Optics clear, reticle crisp.
