Description:

Manufactured in 1936. Single steel bead sight, "35" date, standard Winchester markings, chamber marked 3 inches, and choke marked skeet. The receiver is unadorned aside from the Winchester "WP" proof and the serial number. Straight grain, checkered forend and straight grip stock with Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at the heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. Provenance: The James Windy Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish, showing streaks of grey patina on the front section of the magazine tube, mild high edge wear, and scattered handling marks. Stock is very fine with a few light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
