This attractive 20th century rifle was originally built by Freddie L. Harrison of Bradford, Tennessee, and the stock was subsequently embellished by its current owner. It has "66 45" marked on the muzzle, dovetailed blade and notch sights, "F. L. Harrison" signed in script on top of the barrel, some light engraving at the breech and lock, adjustable double set triggers, and a curly maple stock with incised and raised relief carving, wire inlaid accents, and engraved brass furniture, including a four-piece patchbox with pierced finial and side plates.

Very fine with smooth brown finish, attractive aged patina on the brass, and crisp signature and engraving. Aside from a very faint crack between the entry pipe finial and trigger guard finial, the stock is also very fine and has crisp carving, attractive figure, and minor handling wear. Functions fine (set trigger first).
