Description:

Also known as the Short Sea Service. It features a bead front sight, notch rear sight, swivel mounted/captive ramrod, "crown/V-R" and "TOWER/1855" marked lock, "EVANS SWINBURN & SON" marked on the left stock flat under the belt hook, "broad arrow/BO" and other stamps on the right side of the wrist, and a lanyard wring on the pommel cap.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 80% plus retailer refurbished blue on the barrel, dark brown patina on the lock and hook, aged patina on the brass furniture, and general mild overall wear. The stock is very good and has general scrapes and dings consistent with service use. Mechanically fine.
