Manufactured in the late 18th century to early 19th century. Signed "Spencer" on the lock. The barrel flares to about 1 1/4 inches at the muzzle (bore estimated above) and has turned accents and is mounted with a folding snap bayonet with 10 3/4 inch blade. The furniture is brass and includes some light engraving, including an acorn trigger guard finial.

Fine with patterns of case colors mixed with dark brown patina visible on the lock, dark brown patina on the bayonet, attractively aged patina on the brass, and mild overall wear including scratches and dings on the stock. Mechanically fine.
